If you would like to support Waco Montessori School, there are many options available. Whether you prefer to give financially or with your time and talents, WMS faculty, staff, and most importantly, students, are incredibly grateful.
Waco Montessori School’s main sources of income are tuition and fees, earned income and donations. Tuition covers about 87% of the costs required to provide education for our students. Donations are needed to cover the rest—most often, those come in the form of our Annual Fund, Annual Auction and Golf Tournament.

Annual Fund
Each year, we look to our trustees, parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, foundations and corporations for this essential, tax-deductible support. The collected funds are spent on a discretionary basis to improve and stabilize our school’s environment. It allows us to respond quickly to needs, including (but not limited to) professional development, continuing education, tuition assistance, unexpected facility repairs and replacement of outdated classroom materials.
One of the obligations of our Board of Trustees is to ensure these funds are allocated in order of necessity. We respectfully ask every WMS family to participate in this campaign each year at a level that’s personally significant. Please know that every gift, regardless of the amount, has an incredible impact on a school of our size.

Endowment
The endowment is used to support every aspect of the educational purposes of Waco Montessori School as approved by the Board of Trustees. Our endowment fund is managed by the Waco Foundation.
Time and Talents
Parents, grandparents, caregivers and/or alumni who want to volunteer their time and talents are welcome and encouraged to do so. We have endless opportunities available and deeply value your decision to volunteer. You may participate in as much or as little as your schedule allows. Donor Policy
At Waco Montessori School we respect the privacy of our donors and are committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all fundraising efforts. We list the name of donors in our Annual Report and on social media, unless we are asked by the donor to keep the donation anonymous. We will not share, loan, trade, rent, or sell our donor list to any other organizations. We collect and use information about our donors including name, address, phone number, e-mail address, mailing preferences, and giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used by our Development Office to analyze overall giving patterns in order to make more accurate budget projections and plan for the future. Information on our donors is password protected and may only be accessed by individuals who need such information to perform their assigned duties.
